NABSA extends
invitations to Professors and graduate students
from less equipped laboratories to spend usually
three months at the University of Botswana to
do their researches. This scheme is proved to
be very successful in bringing Intra African
Scientific cooperation as evidenced by a large
number publications* co-authored by the visitors
and the host. The following table is a list of
Professors and graduate students participated
in the NABSA short term research visit scheme.
Short-term visits are the
strongest evidences we have for promoting intra-African
cooperation. These cooperation have resulted
in the about 30 publications, most of which have
appeared in Phytochemistry. Other papers have
appeared in a variety of international and regional
publications such as Journal of Natural Products, Current Organic Chemistry
, Bulletin of the Chemical Society of Ethiopia
, Phytomedicine, Journal of Ethnopharmacology and in conference proceedings such as Pure and
